Fire Company Uses Grant to Buy New Trailer, Holding Presentation Wednesday
Tinton Falls Fire Company No. 1 used a grant to purchase a new utility trailer and will hold a presentation to share the details with the public.
A Tinton Falls fire company has used a grant to purchase a new vehicle and will hold a presentation Wednesday morning to discuss details with the public.
Tinton Falls Fire Company No. 1 will hold a grant presentation on Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. to share details of the funding of a new utility trailer.
“Limited budgets often prevent us from purchasing equipment we need,” said Chief Dave Ciani. “This grant package fills a lot of voids and helps us respond to emergency calls and aid in response times in various emergency situations.”
The special services trailer was purchased using a grant for $11,566 that was procured through Fireman's Fund Insurance Company's Heritage Grant Program as directed by McGowan Excess and Casualty of Eatontown.
The 18-foot, enclosed equipment trailer to haul and house items needed by the
fire company, according to a release. This new trailer will transport and hold equipment that will be necessary in each discipline of rescue and firefighter scene rehabilitation.
Representatives from all parties will be on hand at the firehouse, at 695 Tinton Ave., on Wednesday for the presentation:
