Eatontown Man Charged With Assault, Resisting Arrest
Man remains jailed on $15,000 bail
An Eatontown man remains jailed on assault and resisting arrest charges after being arrested in Red Bank.
Joseph Sarcoma, 32, of Sheri Lane was arrested Sunday on Central Avenue in Red Bank after borough authorities said he assaulted a resident by "repeatedly pushing and shoving" the victim to the ground.
Sarcoma also broke the victim's cell phone and a computer monitor, according to documents filed with Superior Court.
After police arrived, Sarcoma left the Central Avenue home in defiance of officers' orders, police said. He then tried to physically break free from officers attempting to detain him, the complaints stated.
Sarcoma is charged with simple assault, criminal mischief, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest.
He is being held on $15,000 bail, no 10 percent option. Sarcoma will have his first appearance in court Thursday afternoon.

The Jersey shore, a great place to live, work and raise a family! So it once was, now, we seem to be home for all the riffraff, the downtrodden, the psycho’s and more. No wonder those that are able to exit NJ are doing so in record numbers.
