A driver had four children in the vehicle with him when he was charged on Feb. 4 with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle accident on Asbury Avenue in Tinton Falls.

Tinton Falls Police arrested James L. Wilson, 1309 Asbury Ave., Asbury Park and charged him with four counts of child endangerment after a two-car accident at 5:37 p.m. last Saturday. There were no reported injuries at the scene, according to police.

Wilson, 29, had two 14 year olds, a 5 year old and a 3 year old in the vehicle at the time of the accident. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a crime of the third degree.

Wilson was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in Freehold.  Patrolwoman Elena Mazzeo-Ignaczak was the arresting officer.

Let me guess the baggies didn't belong to him. He was holding them for a friend. And he just got done taking cough medicine. Prisons are full of innocent people!!
